Hey there, I'm Caitlin Campbell!

I'm the photographer behind Silverbat Photography.

Ever since I was little I have liked to create things. Stories, drawings, paintings, and of course, photographs. When I was in high school my parents purchased a digital camera and allowed me to play around with it. I really loved taking photos of things I found in nature, and of my family and friends. I would edit them in Photoshop to my (admittedly poor at the time) taste. Once I got an iPhone, I used that to snap pictures of everything around me, but I remember being frustrated at my lack of control over the settings and lighting.

I got my hands on a camera of my own in 2020, and I was hooked. I decided I wanted to photograph people professionally and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

My personal style is to keep it casual. I want to photograph you and your loved ones doing the things that come most naturally to you. I'll happily do some of the posed group photos, but when everyone is relaxed and laughing is when I capture the real magic. I'll guide you toward the best lighting and let your smiles do the rest.
